“According to the results of a conversation (of Russian President Vladimir Putin – ed.) with President (of Turkey Recep Tayyip – ed.) Erdogan, reach an agreement that Turkish colleagues will try to help organize the demining of Ukrainian ports in order to free ships from there, which, in fact, captured in hostages, with cargo needed for developing countries,” the statement said.
Lavrov said that this agreement provides that, as a result of demining, Ukraine will not strengthen its military potential and will not harm the Russian fleet.
As you know, on May 31, Lavrov said that the Russian navy would allow the safe passage of ships with Ukrainian grain if Ukraine solves the issue of mine clearance.
On Monday, May 30, Putin and Erdogan had a telephone conversation, in which Erdogan proposed holding a trilateral meeting of Ukraine, Russia and the UN in Istanbul.
Before that, Erdogan called President Volodymyr Zelensky, the President’s Office said that Zelensky was ready to meet in a trilateral format in Turkey if Putin was ready for this.

Laughrov and Erdogan can talk about what ever they want to talk about but Ukraine is not about to promise removing RUSSIAN mines or promise not to attack RUSSIAN ships in a time of war. Once again we have FOREIGN players trying to speak for Ukraine. Nobody knows what Ukraine needs more than Ukraine…….
