The President stressed that in the destroyed houses of Kharkov, the Russian Federation can see how much it has lost in these 95 days of a full-scale war.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky said that Russia not only lost the battle for Kharkov, Kiev and the North of Ukraine, it lost its own future and any cultural ties with the free world.
He stated this in a video message, which was broadcast on the air of the information telethon.play video
The President noted that his today’s address is dedicated to Kharkov, Kyiv, Severodonetsk and Krivoy Rog, and “through them – to our entire country, to all cities and communities.”
He recalled that today he visited Kharkov and the advanced positions of the Ukrainian military in the region.
“Kharkiv survived the terrible blows of the occupiers. Black, scorched by fire, dilapidated residential buildings of the city look with their windows to the east and north – to where the Russian artillery fired from, from where the Russian military aircraft flew in,” Zelensky said.
According to him, at home they “look” at Russia and in them now, as in a mirror, the Russian Federation can see itself, see how much it has lost during these 95 days of a full-scale war.
“Russia has already lost not only the battle for Kharkov, Kyiv and the North of our country, it has lost its own future and any cultural ties with the free world. They all burned down, including there – on Saltovka,” the head of state stressed.
As UNIAN reported earlier, historian, professor at the Ukrainian Catholic University Yaroslav Hrytsak noted that the war in Ukraine will continue for a long time, but the Russian Federation will suffer a defeat, which will turn into a complete collapse for it.
