The enemy is sorely lacking people to bury the dead, said the adviser to the head of Mariupol.

In the Livoberezhny district of Mariupol, Donetsk region , Russian invaders have turned a supermarket into a dump for bodies – they bring there the dead, who were washed from the graves during an attempt to restore water supply and partially exhumed.

The bodies of people in the supermarket are simply dumped like garbage, Petr Andryushchenko, an adviser to the mayor of Mariupol, shared on Telegram.play video

“Another terrible find. In the Shiriy Kum supermarket … on Svoboda Ave., the Russians have equipped a corpse dump. Literally … They just dump it like garbage. There is a catastrophic shortage of people for burial and the capacity of even improvised morgues. To such an extent that in Moscow has launched a separate recruiting campaign for pathologists,” he said.

Andryushchenko added that such a situation with the dead in Mariupol is a clear demonstration of the inhumanity of the invaders and the threat of an epidemic.

Mariupol Mayor Vadim Boychenko warned during the telethon that this summer the city is threatened with outbreaks of infections, in particular, plague and dysentery. 

“Our qualified doctors report the danger that may arise this summer. Outbreaks of infectious diseases, dysentery, plague and other diseases may occur this summer. And these diseases can, unfortunately, take away thousands of our Mariupol residents,” the official said.

Recall that  early in the morning on February 24, Russian troops invaded Ukraine . Later, the enemy managed to block Mariupol. The invaders fired at the city from various weapons, dropped bombs on it. 

According to the Ukrainian side, more than 20 thousand people died in Mariupol due to the large-scale aggression of Russia, people were buried in mass graves.
