  1. “The only goal (of Russia’s attacks) is to destroy culture. This is a direct attack on the fundamental principles of the international order based on the rule of law,”

Then EVERYTHING should be done to prevent this. Evilness cannot be allowed to win!

    • He makes a truthful statement but then, as the only person with the power to rectify it, he declines to offer a solution.
Obviously he can’t show his hand to putler at this stage (if he has one), but he could have at least said something like : “and I will do everything in my power to stop this and make the aggressor pay.”

Long ago he offered “unwavering support” and then gave the opposite.

Pelosi, or one in the Kyiv delegation, said (or words to the effect) “we will be with you until victory.”
There needs to be a lot more of that, during this, Ukraine’s darkest hour.

      • I think only after the war we will really know how much the Americans have done to help the Ukrainians.

Even though I always feel unsatisfied with the level of support, there is some reason to assume more happens behind the scenes than we really know.

For example, I think training to use an advanced system like Harpoon missiles, but also to maintain the system probably takes 1 or 2 months to train for.

We didn’t hear about it until it got delivered. Also, to use and maintain the M777 howitzer I guess quite some training is needed, especially when you operate a hundred of them.

Hopefully something like this is also happening with the MLRS system. If they will be delivered within like 1-2 weeks, we can safely assume they have been working on this for a long time in secrecy.

Also I read today that they have actually delivered Soviet aircraft, they were only disassembled but they weren’t just spare part as claimed. I do believe this too, because I thought it was suspicious they could suddenly have increased the size of the airforce significantly if they were just some spare parts.

I am not sure the Biden administration is doing great, but I am suspecting the U.S. army is working ahead of the people in Washington and that more is happening than publicly known, which is a good thing I guess.
