In the Kharkiv region, soldiers from the 95th separate air assault brigade shot down a Ka-52 “Alligator” helicopter of the invaders. The cost of one such helicopter is $16 million.

The press center of the command of the Airborne Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on the destroyed equipment on its official Facebook page .

The target was eliminated by the soldiers of the anti-aircraft missile and artillery battalion of the 95th brigade. A well-aimed shot was fired from the portable anti-aircraft missile system “Perun”. On the combat account of the soldiers of the DShV, this is already the 67th air target of the Russian occupiers.

The video below shows how the Ukrainian defenders destroyed the helicopter. They were in ambush among dense vegetation and noticed that the Ka-52 was flying at low altitudes in the middle of an open area at a relatively short distance. The fighters took advantage of this: they fired a volley from the “Perun” and after a few seconds recorded a hit.

Recall, according to fresh data from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, since the full-scale invasion, the Ukrainian military has shot down 170 helicopters. Of these, the bulk is the Ka-52. Often, it was the Perun MANPADS that were used for this. For example, two weeks ago, such a “catch” of the Armed Forces of Ukraine was noted in the Izyum region.
