The US has imposed new sanctions against two Russian banks.

This is stated in a statement by the US Department of the Treasury.

Sanctions were imposed against the Russian banks Far East Bank and Sputnik. According to Washington, these banks “conducted transactions on behalf of companies from the DPRK.

Getting into the SDN sanctions list involves freezing the assets of banks in the United States, a ban on transactions with these structures, as well as blocking property rights in the United States.

According to the US Treasury Department, Russian institutions financially or materially contributed to North Korea’s missile program – in particular, providing it with access to financial services, thanks to which it bought the necessary equipment.

    • Nah, that would be too easy for the politicians, they usually insist on doing everything the hard way. Besides, they’re worried about upsetting Hitler 2.0. You know, he might invade Ukraine and start bombing hospitals…..oh wait…..

  1. Step by step, like a baby learning to walk, the West is slowly and unsteadily moving forward with more sanctions. How sad…

    • The one thing we learn from history is that no one learns from history. They just can
t bring themselves to quit appeasing Putin. It’s working about like it worked at Munich.
