The administration of US President Joe Biden is preparing to provide Ukraine with a new batch of weapons , including modern multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS) MLRS.
It is reported by CNN , citing sources.
According to the publication, the Biden administration is preparing to provide Ukraine with modern MLRS MLRS, as they are most in demand.
In particular, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba, President Volodymyr Zelensky and other Ukrainian politicians spoke about the need for such weapons. In their opinion, it is these systems that can change “the course of the war.”
The [Biden] administration is leaning towards providing (MLRS – ed.) systems as part of an expanded military aid package for Ukraine, which could be announced as early as next week,” the newspaper writes
Another system requested by Ukraine is the HIMARS (light wheeled) highly mobile artillery rocket system capable of firing many of the same types of ammunition as the MLRS.
American MLRS MLRS are capable of launching missiles hundreds of kilometers farther than any other analogues available in Ukraine.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said on May 25 that Ukraine is in critical need of multiple rocket launchers, and allies who could provide them are waiting for a political signal from Washington – so everything depends on the Biden administration.

The shipments must come quickly. Time is of the essence! Mafia land is conducting its last major effort before it runs out of wind, and it must not be allowed to blow down the Ukrainian defenses before then.
This can be a major game changer.
The maximum range of these is 500 km.
This means even the Kerch Bridge can be destroyed. And it can probably take out most of the Russian Black Sea fleet.
Hopefully it will get delivered soon including the most advanced missiles.
