Caesar is a new generation self-propelled artillery mount, which makes it possible to hit the enemy at a distance of 20 km or more from the front line with high accuracy.

Fighters on the front line are already using French Caesar self-propelled howitzers .
This was announced by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny.
He recalled that Caesar is a new generation self-propelled artillery mount, which makes it possible to hit the enemy at a distance of 20 km or more from the front line with high accuracy.
According to Zaluzhny, these self-propelled guns are on a wheeled chassis, which makes them mobile and maneuverable.
Also, the installation is equipped with an automated system of self-binding and homing to the target and has a fairly high rate of fire – 5 rounds per minute and high accuracy of fire.
The self-propelled guns can use several types of 155 mm ammunition, which are used in NATO countries.
“Caesar ensures the survivability of the crew and comfortable working conditions. It makes it possible to act according to the principle: fire – maneuver – fire. Our gunners quickly mastered the new self-propelled guns, in fact, in 2-3 hours. I am sincerely grateful to the partners for the assistance! It serves to bring our victory closer”, – said the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Recall that the Pentagon explained why public discussions about the transfer of the MiG-29 to Ukraine stopped.

I wish I could start seeing more of a counter offensive. Z says there are 700,000 strong force. Where are they? Seems Russia is just continuing to gain ground. Again, I know nothing of military strategy so I’m speaking strictly emotionally.

I’m guessing many of them are being withheld and formed into units. When they are trained up, they will be committed. Given cohesive units and being well equipped and motivated they would quickly make a hash of Putin’s thugs.
That’s my guess. I certainly don’t see evidence of 700K troops in the field.

Ukrainian military and territorial defense do not get enough credit for how fast they are learning new systems. Glad to see confirmation of the few Caesars that were sent. Great for fire, maneuver, and fire like the article says. Less set up time than the M-777. Training on these and other systems are going on like a revolving door. Pulling a few out to train then sending them back in to train others. Process takes time but makes operators much more formidable. Along with stuff that is being announced, many surprises are being shipped in. Praise God He fights for Ukraine, and His Holy Angels go forth mightily against the Rashist invaders. Glory be to God!!! Slava Ukraini!!! And Heroyam Slava!!!

I know you guys are right but these daily cuts into us is discouraging. I’m not a military guy but I do know our guys are doing a phenomenal job. My concern is that while we wait the fuckin cockroaches are building their defenses.

That was rather quick. Ukrainians are fast learners … a far cry from ruskie monkeys.
