Russia removes obsolete T-62 tanks from storage for war in Ukraine

The obsolete T-62 tanks are forced to be removed from storage by the enemy in order to complete the formed reserve battalion tactical groups for shipment to Ukraine.

This was reported in the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

In addition, to make up for the loss of weapons, the enemy uses equipment that was damaged in battle and restored at repair enterprises.

In total, as of May 23, the Russian Nazis had already lost 1,293 tanks in Ukraine.

Note that the T-62 is a Soviet medium and main battle tank of the first generation. It was created on the basis of the T-55 tank, discontinued in the USSR in the 70s.

  1. Wow! That will not make the crews feel very confident when they sit in tanks as old or even much older than their fathers.
I’m waiting to see the first T-34s appearing on the battlefield.
