On Monday, May 23, military pilots of the 7th tactical aviation brigade of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant Colonel Igor Khmara and Major Ilya Negara, made their last flight in Vinnitsa.

On May 19, 2022, while performing a combat mission, the crew of the Ukrainian Su-24M bomber died heroically in the east of the country.

It is noted that since the beginning of the large-scale Russian aggression, as part of the crew, the pilots have completed 14 sorties, destroyed dozens of pieces of military equipment, hundreds of Russian invaders.

For personal courage and selfless actions shown in the defense of the state sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, loyalty to the oath, President Volodymyr Zelensky awarded the pilots with state awards of Ukraine, the Order “For Courage” III.

Earlier it was reported that in April, military personnel of the tactical aviation brigade of the air command “Center” conducted the last flight of Lieutenant Colonel Yerko Vyacheslav Vladimirovich.
