Serhiy Gaidai , the head of the Lugansk regional military administration, reports this in his Telegram .

“The Russians are advancing on Lisichansk and Severodonetsk, 12 dead in the regional center, more than 60 destroyed houses in the Lugansk region … We have 12 dead in Severodonetsk, one more in the Gorskaya community,” he said.

According to Gaidai, entire streets are burned out as a result of shelling.

“Houses are being destroyed and burned out. In some places, entire streets, like here in Nirkovo, there are five housing estates in a row. Six in Zolote, three in Vrubovka, and three more in Rubizhne. It is impossible to count the damage in Toshkovka, where hostilities continue,” – wrote the chairman of the OVA .

At the same time, he said that the occupying troops could not take Severodonetsk by storm, suffered losses in personnel and retreated.

“However, the residents of the city felt the consequences of the offensive: dead and wounded people, at least five high-rise buildings were destroyed,” Gaidai added.

According to him, the situation is no better in Lisichansk and cities located near Severodonetsk.

“Thus, 12 houses were damaged by shelling in Lisichansk, 14 in Novodruzhesk, and 17 in Privolye,” the report says.

Recall, according to military expert Vladislav Seleznev, in the Lugansk region, the Russian invaders desperately need to besiege Lisichansk and Severodonetsk in order to have a certain basis for entering interstate negotiations in the future.
