Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin promised Kherson “a worthy place in our Russian family”

Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Marat Khusnullin, who is in the Kherson region, occupied by Russian troops, said that this region will take “a worthy place in our Russian family.”

“Kherson has a great prospect,” RIA Novosti quotes the vice-premier. “We are waiting for everyone, we invite you to cooperate – there is no need to be afraid of anything, we will live and work together further.”

Khusnullin also said that “today, in Kherson, peaceful life is relatively, there is little destruction, which pleases us.”

According to the Deputy Prime Minister, the Russian government has already allocated funds “for the restoration and repair of roads and bridges” in the Kherson region, and “through the Ministry of Agriculture” it is planned to provide local agricultural producers “with all the support measures that are in Russia.”

In early May, Secretary of the General Council of United Russia Andrey Turchak visited Kherson, who declared that “Russia is here forever.”

Meduza and other media sources, Ukrainian authorities, and Western intelligence agencies have repeatedly stated that Russia plans to hold a referendum in the region on the creation of a “Kherson People’s Republic.” The Russian authorities do not officially recognize the existence of such plans.

  1. This is an utter disgrace. The allies are allowing putinazi rape, torture, genocide and kidnapping, so another land grab obviously doesn’t worry them either.
Kherson must be retaken now, or Ukraine will be lost.

    • This is a fight Ukraine must do on her own except for the weapons. Otherwise Vladolf will claim it is russia against NATO and then he will have an excuse to use nuclear weapons and have vast support at home. If it remains russia vs Ukraine and he loses, there is a chance he could be removed from power. It is a tough pill to swallow but this is the hand Ukraine has been dealt.

What is your opinion?
