Eurovision is always about politics.
Consistently over the years RuSSia does quite well, which reflects the EU policy of grovelling to its nazi regime.
Usually Britain does very badly; reflecting EU hatred for Brexit.
This year it changed. RuSSia are banned at last. Ukraine wins deservedly and as a bonus the song and artists are excellent.
Britain came second, which reflects some respect for the leadership we tried to show in responding to the demonic behaviour of nazi RuSSia.

I might also add that Ukraine gave the UK her 12 points as best song. Now Ukraine has won 3 times in 18 years I believe. Its amazing how things like Eurovision or PACE can improve or heal after the Moskali leave. I wish the UN would get the message.

Another takeaway: the frogs and krauts came bottom. I’d like to think that it’s because of their continued weaselly grovelling to putinazi scum.
