The Chief Rabbi of Ukraine and Kyiv asks the leadership of Israel to save the defenders of Azovstal (document)

With a request to save the Ukrainian defenders of Mariupol, who are now in the dungeons of the Azovstal metallurgical plant, the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine and Kyiv, Moshe Reuven Azman, addressed the Israeli Knesset.

The Rebbe published the corresponding appeal on social networks.

“I turned through my friend, co-chairman of the Israel-Ukraine parliamentary group, Michael Malkiel, to the leadership of Israel with a request to help save the defenders of Mariupol from Azovstal!” Moshe Azman said emotionally.

Recall that the Chief Rabbi of Ukraine and Kyiv is actively helping Ukrainian soldiers and civilians in the de-occupied territories.

He condemns the Russian invasion, constantly telling journalists of world publications how the Russian invaders destroy synagogues and cemeteries in our country, kill civilians and regularly records his video blog, in which he prays for Ukraine’s victory over the aggressor.
