The best infectious diseases department in the Luhansk region in Rubizhne was captured by looters-Kadyrovites.
This was announced by the Commissioner of the Verkhovna Rada for Human Rights Lyudmila Denisova.
In the department, which is located in the northern part of the city on the offensive path of the invaders, there was a lot of modern expensive equipment and foreign-made medicines.
Propaganda videos appeared on Russian TV channels, in which the military of the terrorist state boasted that they allegedly set up a hospital in Rubizhne, which “suddenly” turned out to be filled with modern equipment.
Now in this department, which Ukraine has been helped to build by international organizations over the past years, marauders are dismantling equipment in order to take it to Russia.
“Illegal, senseless and large-scale appropriation of property, not caused by military necessity, is a serious violation of international humanitarian law, which entails the right to indemnification and compensation for damage,” Denisova said. Looting is prohibited by the Hague Convention on the Laws and Customs of War on Land and the Geneva Convention for the Protection of Civilian Persons in Time of War. It is also a war crime under Article 8 of the Rome Statute of the International Criminal Court.
“I am appealing to the UN Commission of Inquiry into Human Rights Violations during Russia’s military invasion of Ukraine with a request to take into account these facts of crimes and violations of human rights by Russia in Ukraine,” the Ombudsman said.

Europe watched as 130 “humanitarian convoys” left from the Donbas, full of something. So if you were going into a war zone with “humanitarian aid” what on earth could you put in 100 trucks and return to russia? This looted lab is just more of that. There is no telling how much industry was stolen from Ukraine and now 8 years later no international courts, PACE, EU, UN nobody has done anything about it except Ukraine.
PACE, EU, UN et al have not earned their keep. We’ve seen this for the entire eight years of war and crimes by mafia land against Ukraine. This is ongoing. They all should be disbanded and the monies used for sensible things instead.
