“Today, May 12, in the Luhansk region, an anti-aircraft gunner of the 81st separate airmobile brigade of the Airborne Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine discovered a group of four enemy helicopters, and shot down the leader of the second pair from the Stinger MANPADS,” the message says.
It is also noted that the DShV air defense units continue to carry out combat missions and destroy enemy air attack weapons.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the Ukrainian military shot down another Russian Ka-52 helicopter in the Izyum region of the Kharkiv region . The helicopter was shot down by the Polish MANPADS “Perun” of the 95th Airborne Brigade: this Russian helicopter costs $16 million.
