In Kharkiv Region, the Ukrainian military from the 95th Air Assault Brigade have shot down one more Russian Ka-52 ‘Alligator’ helicopter.
The relevant statement was made by the Air Assault Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Today, in Kharkiv Region, the anti-aircraft defense unit of the 95th Air Assault Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has shot down Russia’s Ka-52 scout and attack helicopter with the Piorun man-portable air-defense system,” the report states.
A reminder that, in early May 2022, Ukrainian defenders also destroyed Russia’s Ka-52 ‘Alligator’ helicopter worth about $15 million.
