Warriors of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Yakov Gandzyuk destroyed the invader ‘s self-propelled howitzer .

This was announced on Facebook by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

“Warriors of the 59th separate motorized infantry brigade named after Yakov Gandzyuk are destroying the artillery systems of the Russian invaders. In particular, this time a 152-mm 2S19 Msta-S self-propelled howitzer was turned into a pile of scrap metal,” the report said.

The brigade’s Facebook page says that “this deadly vehicle, a long-range 152-mm howitzer, dragged by the Russians to our land to kill Ukrainians, is now lying around in a pile of scrap, littering the Ukrainian field.” At the same time, they note that several more 122-mm D-30 installations were destroyed.

“Well, the day was fruitful. But the real harvest is yet to come,” the message says.

Earlier, the resistance forces of the Severshchina took away the same self-propelled howitzer from the invaders .

It should be noted that the 2S19 “MSTA-S” is a Soviet and Russian 152-mm divisional self-propelled howitzer, which was developed at the Ural Transport Engineering Plant. The combat unit is capable of hitting observable and unobservable targets from concealed positions and direct fire, including work in mountainous conditions.
