Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Viktor Andrusiv said that over 20,000 unofficial calls via telegram bots and about 12,000 calls to the “hot line” of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine have already been made by relatives of Russian soldiers who are looking for their loved ones.
He said this on the air of the All-Ukrainian Information Telethon.
“I (on the UNIAN telegram channel) only in March had 210 identified prisoners who were recognized by their relatives on the telegram channel. And somewhere around 40 dead … Now .. upon request through telegram bots that we created, we received 20,000 inquiries from native soldiers who asked what was wrong with them, and about 12,000 more calls to the hotline of the Ministry of the Interior… also from relatives,” Androsov said.
He noted that Russian propaganda is no longer able to hide from the Russians the human losses of the Russian Federation in the war in Ukraine, and official requests from the Russian Ombudsman are already being received.
“They are no longer successful. And, in particular, those telegrams – channels that we created, and in Russia, do not allow them to hide it … and requests from the Russian Ombudsman have come to Ukraine,” Andrusiv said.
The adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine emphasized that in the future it will be much more difficult for Russia to hide the losses of its soldiers. “In fact, it will be much more difficult to hide … it is clear that people do not feel these losses in such a short period, people are told that somewhere there is no connection with the guys, that they have disappeared somewhere,” he said. He emphasized that every month this fear of Russians about the loss of loved ones in the war, unleashed by their power, will rapidly increase, as it once was during the events in Afghanistan under the Soviet Union.
