The Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a counteroffensive in the Izyum direction. The operation to liberate settlements northeast of Kharkov is also ongoing.
General Valery Zaluzhny, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, said this in an interview with the head of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff, General Mark Milley.
Zaluzhny also informed his colleague about the course of hostilities in the Luhansk region, where the invaders are trying to storm Popasnaya, Kremennaya and Torskoye.
Separately, the generals discussed the ongoing rocket attacks on infrastructure facilities on the territory of Ukraine. Valery Zaluzhny pointed out the need to supply the Ukrainian army with M142 HIMARS and M270 MLRS missile systems to destroy enemy tactical missile systems.

Superb!
I hope that this offensive is far more affective than the one the orcs had “unleashed”.

If these weapons are there, it won’t take long for the scum to change their “plans”again.

Yesterday, already, the UA army had received 90% of those howitzers. I don’t know if they have any Excalibur shells yet, though.

Having the 5km distance advantage is going to force them to change their posture and could eliminate their howitzers I hope. Given the record of their tanks that won’t leave much of an option there. So what is left? MLRS? I think Ukraine may have an advantage there too since the new HIMARS can shoot-n-scoot while the MLRS systems are pretty much fixed as I recall.

Just watching a report, looks like Ukraine are close to surrounding Russian troops in Izium. If that happens, there’s 22,000 cockroaches trapped, ready to be squashed.

Any news on this? We’ve been striking a lot of lines in the rear so perhaps this will work again here.
