Dutch port workers refused to unload a ship with Russian diesel fuel in Amsterdam.

NOS writes about it  .

The ship “Sunny Liger” has been at anchor since yesterday evening about forty kilometers from the city of IJmuiden.

Port workers refuse to accept an oil tanker. According to the publication, the municipality of Amsterdam supports their protest.

The Marshall Islands-flagged tanker is legally allowed to port, but the crew has not made any formal requests to dock.

The speaker of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Oleg Nikolenko called on the government of the Netherlands to demand the immediate departure of the ship.

“Oil tanker “Sunny Liger” with Russian oil entered the port of Amsterdam. We call on the Dutch government to demand the immediate departure of this vessel. The Netherlands, whose support Ukraine greatly appreciates, should not become a place for dirty Russian oil schemes,” he wrote on Twitter .

Recall that earlier port workers in Sweden announced a blockade for ships associated with Russia.
