On April 25, 22-year-old American Willy Joseph Kansel, who worked for a private military company, died in Ukraine.

According to the mother of the deceased, Rebecca Cabrera, kansel is a former Marine. The day before, he took a job with a private military contracting company in addition to his full-time job as a corrections officer in Tennessee.
When a full-scale war began in Ukraine, the company was looking for contractors to participate in the fighting in Ukraine, and Kansel agreed to go, his mother says. He participated in the fighting on the side of Ukraine on a paid basis.
Kansel was married, 7 months ago he had a son. The widow of the deceased military Brittany Kansel, in a Fox News commentary, said: “My husband really died in Ukraine. He went there wanting to help people, he always felt that this was his main mission in life … My husband was very brave and a hero. I don’t expected to be a widow at 23, or our son to be fatherless. All I want is for him to come home, to bury him properly.”
US President Joe Biden, commenting on the news of Cancel’s death, said: “It’s very sad. He left a small child.”
White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki earlier Friday offered her condolences to Kansel’s family and said the US government had not officially confirmed his death. She warned Americans against traveling to Ukraine and participating in hostilities.
“We know that Americans are looking for ways to help, and the reports about this man said that he is a veteran. He had a child. I believe this is a very passionate young man. We know that people want to help, but we encourage Americans to find others ways to do it… Instead of going to Ukraine to fight,” she says.
As UNIAN wrote, a veteran of the British army, 36-year-old Scott Sibley was killed in Ukraine. He became the first British citizen to die in Ukraine during a full-scale war.

Unfortunately, many brave men AND women die in this war … as with every war. I wish there was another way to stop the rat and his cockroach army, but fighting is now the only option.
