Russia concludes construction of its section of rail bridge to China

Russia has completed its section of the first rail bridge across the Amur River, which is designed to connect Russia and China.

According to the Russian state-owned news agency TASS, the construction was concluded near the village of Nizhneleninskoye in the Jewish Autonomous Region.

Construction on the Tongjiang-Nizhneleninskoye bridge was commenced in 2014.

China concluded the construction of its section of the bridge, which covers four-fifths of its complete length of 2,200, in 2018.

  1. While they are looking to trade with China now, I expect that relationship to sour in the long term. Dictators don’t like to share power, resources, or even contribute to the strengthening of each other’s economies. Eventually, they will look at each other with envious eyes, and start considering one another a threat to their respective situations. Then we’ll see a Russian-Chinese war.

  2. This is a good example of the superpower Moskovy’s ability to construct something. The agreement to build this bridge happened in 2008 and it took the Chinese 10 years to build 80% of the bridge. It took the Moskali 14 years to build 20%…superpower my ass……

What is your opinion?
