Ukraine Army liberates five villages near Kherson

The Ukrainian Armed Forces have liberated five villages in the Kherson region, forcing the Russian invaders to retreat to the settlement of Chornobaivka.

That’s according to the Telegram channel Operational ZSU, Ukrinform reports.

“Five villages in the Kherson direction have been liberated. The occupiers are retreating to the borders of the legendary Chornobaivka,” the statement said.

Since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine started on February 24, the Ukrainian army has liberated more than a thousand settlements from Russian invaders, but the number of occupied towns and villages is still greater.

On February 24, Russia launched a new phase of its war against Ukraine – a full-scale invasion. Russian invaders are shelling and bombing peaceful cities, towns and villages in Ukraine, torturing and killing civilians.
