It could have been much worse. At least the Putin puppet will not get elected. Now maybe Macron can actually concentrate on arming Ukraine, but I have my doubts.

As I predicted, LePen lost. LePen has also conceded. Between Macron and LePen, Macron was the better of a bad deal for Ukraine.
