Ukraine shells crossing point in Russia – governor of Russian region

April 23 (Reuters) – The governor of a Russian border region said on Saturday that Ukraine had shelled a crossing point on Russia’s territory, causing a fire but no casualties.

An office of the Russian agriculture watchdog, Rosselkhoznadzor, caught fire after shelling, the governor of the Kursk region, Roman Starovoit, said on his Telegram account.

It was not immediately possible to confirm details of the incident or determine who was responsible.

  2. What exactly is a crossing point, according to their definition? What purpose would such an attack have? At any rate, I doubt that Ukraine would waste ammunition on useless targets. If there was a shelling there, it most likely stemmed from incompetent mafia artillery.

  3. Even if true, Russia has no room for complaint. They started a war and there are consequences. Like it or not, you accept the consequences of your actions.

    Having said that, I note how vague the “report” is. I seriously doubt it was shelled by Ukraine.
