Two Soviet monuments were demolished in Chernivtsi (video)

In Chernivtsi on Thursday, April 21, two Soviet monuments were dismantled at once.

This was reported in the Chernivtsi City Council.

“On Clean Thursday, those who are not indifferent offered to take out the garbage, but we supported them. Soviet trash has no place in our beautiful city,” the city council said in a statement.

It is noted that public utilities dismantled the sculpture of the Red Army soldiers in battle. They also demolished a monument to one of the founders of the Bukovina Communist Party in the Romanian period – Semyon Galitsky.
