Joe Biden told Volodymyr Zelensky that the US would provide $800 million in additional military assistance to Ukraine, including armored personnel carriers, artillery systems and helicopters.

This is stated in a press release from the White House following a conversation between the two leaders:

“This new assistance package will include many of the highly effective weapons systems we have already provided, as well as new capabilities tailored to the broader offensive we expect Russia to launch in eastern Ukraine. 

These new capabilities include artillery systems, artillery shells, and armored personnel carriers. Biden also approved the transfer of additional helicopters.”
