The EU Council approved the third tranche in the amount of 500 million euros for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces

The agreed measures provide for the financing of both the provision of equipment and its supply by the EU Member States for the Armed Forces.

The Council of the European Union has agreed on a third tranche of defense assistance to Ukraine for another 500 million euros, now the total amount of assistance has increased to 1.5 billion euros.

This is stated in a statement on the website of the European Council.
