The Armed Forces of Ukraine eliminated the entire command of the 331st Guards Airborne Regiment of the Russian Federation . It is this unit that is responsible for the insidious attack on the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Ilovaisk.

Information about the achievement of the Ukrainian soldiers was shared by the ex-deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Ilya Ponomarev on his Facebook page .

As a result of clashes on the territory of Ukraine, Colonel Sergei Sukharev, who commanded the 331st regiment, was killed. The chief of staff, lieutenant colonel, with staff officers and commanders of companies and battalions were also destroyed. Ponomarev did not disclose the circumstances of their elimination.

But the ex-deputy recalled that in 2014 it was the 331st regiment that dealt a treacherous blow in the back to Ukrainian troops who were leaving Ilovaisk through the “green corridor”. The attack was personally led by Sukharev, as reported by Colonel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Anatoly Shtefan and blogger Roman Turovets.

Then he led only one battalion tactical group. And during the full-scale invasion of Ukraine, Sukharev already commanded a regiment and could not survive one of the meetings with the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
