A member of the Russian delegation in the negotiations with Ukraine, Putin’s aide Vladimir Medinsky warned that there would be no ceasefire by the aggressor.

He stated this at a briefing on the results of the next round of meetings with representatives of Ukraine in Istanbul.

Medinsky argues that the parties still have a long way to go to prepare an agreement between the countries on “mutually beneficial” terms.

Russia will put forward counter initiatives after consideration of Ukraine’s proposals.

De-escalation in the Kiev and Chernigov directions does not mean a ceasefire, Medinsky said.

  1. Ukraine’s forces must retake all occupied territories except for Crimea, then demand Nato membership.

  2. There will be a cease fire only after all mafia troops will be either dead, wounded, captured, or have deserted.
