In the Mykolaiv region, Ukrainian marines, together with their brothers from OK “South”, shot down four enemy helicopters.

This was reported by the press service of the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 

“At the same time, one of the Marines shot down three units at once,” said Rear Admiral Oleksiy Neizhpapa, Commander of the Ukrainian Navy.

“A real example of professionalism, courage and heroism! And this is another sure step towards victory!” he added.

Earlier, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine disseminated information that Ukrainian forces shot down approximately 39 aircraft (to be confirmed) and 40 helicopters (to be confirmed).
