On Saturday, March 5, explosions thundered in the Ukrainian capital around 00:00, they were heard in several districts.

This was reported by eyewitnesses who are now in Kyiv.

An air alert has been declared in the city. All residents of the capital were urged to immediately follow the shelters.

As reported by the General Staff, the enemy continues the offensive operation against Ukraine with the support of aviation and uses high-precision weapons. The occupiers concentrated their main efforts  on the encirclement of the cities of Kiev and Kharkov . In addition, the enemy intends to reach the administrative borders in the Luhansk and Donetsk regions and further create a land corridor with the occupied Crimea.
