One of the largest backbone providers of the American company Cogent disconnects Russian operators from its networks.

This was announced by the Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine Mykhailo Fedorov in the Telegram.

The company offers operators to take away server equipment within a month.

Rostelecom, VimpelCom, MegaFon, Yandex and VK work with Cogent.

“Very soon this will lead to a deterioration in the quality of Russian access to foreign Internet services,” Fedorov said.
