On the morning of Wednesday, March 2, the central part of Kharkov was again under fire.

According to eyewitness videos, in Kharkiv, an explosion occurred in the very center – 1.5 kilometers from the Svoboda Maidan, which was shelled the day before. 

As a result of the shelling, the university building caught fire. Karazin on Mironositskaya Street, located next to the SBU building. A part of the neighboring building, where the Main Directorate of the National Police is located, is also on fire.

According to the State Emergency Service, the fire has spread to residential buildings, there is a threat of the fire spreading. 

“Rescuers are working on the spot. The number of victims and destruction is being specified. The information is being updated,” the State Emergency Service said.
