On the morning of March 1, the Russian military launched a rocket attack on the building of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration.
Freedom Square in Kharkiv, one of the largest squares in Europe, came under fire. The buildings of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration are located there.

Freedom Square in Kharkiv came under fire

According to preliminary information from the State Emergency Service, 6 people, including one child, were injured in the shelling of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration building.
Civilian casualties are estimated. Kharkiv residents are asked not to leave the shelter.
