As a result of an air attack by Russian troops on the Gostomel airport near Kiev, an AN-225 “Mriya” was burned.
This is reported by the State Communications Agency in its Telegram channel. The department noted that such information was reported to Radio Liberty by two informed sources at the Antonov enterprise and confirmed by the mayor of the city of Bucha.
“There is information that as a result of an air attack by Russian troops on the Gostomel airport near Kiev, one of the largest and most powerful aircraft in the world, Ukrainian-made AN-225 Mriya, was burned,” the report says.
The department stressed that the information is still being further verified.
