The Hungarian authorities will not block EU sanctions against the Russian Federation, which are introduced in response to the invasion of Ukraine.

This was announced on Twitter by Deputy Foreign Minister of Poland Paweł Jablonski after a conversation with the Hungarian ambassador in Warsaw.

The head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry announced this on the Twitter microblog.

“Conversation with French colleague and friend Jean-Yves Le Drian. France supports disconnecting Russia from SWIFT. I insist on the immediate imposition of the 3rd EU sanctions package to stop the Russian invasion. France is also ready to supply weapons and equipment to help Ukraine defend itself” – said Kuleba.

  1. Sanctions are not going to stop the invasion. If the west will give Ukraine the material support she needs, then the cost of the invasion can be made to exceed Russia’s capacity to pay the price. Putin has already lost the people he needs to keep the war going and has resorted to Justin Trudeau’s methods.
