The Cabinet of Ministers during an extraordinary meeting decided to issue military bonds in the amount of up to UAH 400 billion.
As an UNIAN correspondent reports, Prime Minister Denys Shmygal announced this during his address.
“The government has decided to carry out state internal borrowings in the amount of up to UAH 400 billion through a phased issuance of military bonds,” Shmyhal said.
He noted that our economy is reorienting to the format of work “everything for the economy, everything for the front.”
The Prime Minister also announced that the funds received by citizens for vaccination under the program “Epidtrimka” can be sent to help military personnel in the international charitable foundation “Come Back Alive” or transferred to a special account of the National Bank of Ukraine.

In addition, the Cabinet of Ministers at an extraordinary meeting decided that the financing of the security and defense sector will be a priority.
“In connection with the martial law, the State Treasury Service, together with the Ministry of Finance, will redistribute funds in order to primarily finance the strengthening of national security and defense, the necessary priority measures under martial law and payments,” Denys Shmyhal said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the National Bank of Ukraine urgently transferred UAH 19 billion to the state budget of Ukraine to provide financial support for the functioning of the state under martial law.

Ukrainian oligarch Akhmetov has pitched in one billion UAH to support the troops too. I guess he knows which side is heading for victory. I wonder how long Kolomoisky will last until he runs back to Israel and hang out with the other Russian oligarchs there?
That’s great about Akhmetov. He is or was a Yanuk man. He paid for Manafort’s company.
Kolomoisky seems to have gone the opposite way: he financed the volunteer battalions in 2014, but seems to be a putinoid? Not sure about that though.
I also have been a Yanuk man, but i shit at Manafort. Akhmetov is a patriot.
Zelensky should not go to Minsk. Putin won’t be there but Zelensky’s life could be in danger in the belarussian shithole!
