Suffered losses and retreated: Russian equipment destroyed in Starobilsk by Ukrainian artillery

Ukrainian gunners wrecked a column of Russian equipment near Starobilsk, Luhansk region. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Defense.

“Ukrainian artillerymen dealt damage to the occupiers near Starobilsk. In Starobilsk area, Ukrainian artillery wrecked a column of Russian vehicles preparing to cross the Aidar River,” the statement said.

The Ministry of Defense said that the Russian military broke through the Ukrainian border and tried to enter from the rear, strike and break the line of defense of Ukrainian troops.

But as a result, the militants suffered losses and retreated.

In addition, in Chernihiv direction and directly on the approach to Chernihiv, the Ukrainian military managed to hold the defense and repel the breakthrough of Russian troops.
