Enemy paratroopers who landed in Mykolaiv in the area of the Timvod residential district have been eliminated.

Chairman of Mykolaiv Regional State Administration Vitaliy Kim reported this on his Telegram channel, Ukrinform reports.

According to him, the incident with paratroopers is over now. Kim also noted that he will now decide whether to return to work in the regional state administration, or whether he will work elsewhere.

According to eyewitnesses, shots were heard for some time around the Mykolaiv shipyard.

The regional state administration asked city residents not to come close to the windows.

Earlier, Russian troops fired from helicopters the city of Snihurivka in the Mykolaiv region.
