Five planes, one helicopter of Russian Armed Forces downed in Luhansk region

     

In Luhansk region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down five planes and one helicopter of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, which violated the state border of Ukraine.

       

“According to preliminary operational information, five planes and one Russian helicopter were shot down in Luhansk region,” the press service of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine posted on Facebook.

      

At about 05:00, the state border of Ukraine in the sections near the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus was attacked by Russian troops supported by Belarus. Attacks on border units, border patrols, and checkpoints are carried out with the use of artillery, heavy equipment, and small arms in Luhansk, Sumy, Kharkiv, Chernihiv, and Zhytomyr regions.

     

In addition, the attack is launched from the temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk and Luhansk regions and from the Autonomous Republic of Crimea.

    

The work of enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups is observed.

    • That’s some good news. It sounds like Odesa got hit hard and could have a couple dozen dead with a lot missing too. One dead in Mariupol and even 3 places hit in L’viv.

  1. Make them pay for every inch they move on. Putin clearly thought those reports of guerrilla resistance were going to be only bravado. Now is the time to prove him wrong. I wish I could be fighting this too, but I’m still in the United States, and I think Liudmila would prefer I just keep her and I alive.
