Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council  Oleksiy Danilov said that Ukraine does not intend to implement the Minsk agreements, as an attempt to implement them could provoke internal unrest that will benefit Moscow.

He announced this in an interview with the Associated Press .

The NSDC secretary argues that Ukraine should revise the 2015 agreements signed in Minsk.

“Implementation of the Minsk agreements means the destruction of the country,” Danilov said. “When they were signed under the barrel of Russian guns – and the Germans and the French were watching – it was already clear to all reasonable people that it was impossible to implement these documents,” the NSDC secretary said.

Danilov also warned the West against pressuring Ukraine to comply with the Minsk agreements, saying it would provoke dangerous instability.

“If they insist on the implementation of the Minsk agreements in their current form, it will be very dangerous for our country,” he said. “If society does not accept these agreements, this could lead to a very difficult internal situation, and Russia is counting on this,” Danilov said.

The secretary of the National Security and Defense Council notes that if Ukraine fulfills the terms of the deal, this will allow Russia to demand the lifting of Western sanctions, which depended on progress in implementing the Minsk agreements.

Danilov called for talks on a new document that could be realistically implemented, adding that he should force “Putin to simply withdraw his troops and tanks” from the Ukrainian border.

Recall that earlier the United States in the OSCE named three conditions that the Russian Federation must fulfill under the Minsk agreements

  1. Good! Minsk and Minsk II were dead births from the beginning anyway. Mafia land, Germanystan and frog land wanted to fuck Ukraine in the ass with them, so to speak. Being pressured to sign a rotten deal can be legally challenged. It’s called signing under duress or undue influence. If you believe you were forced to sign a contract that was not in your best interests, you may take action to invalidate it. Do it, Ukraine!

What is your opinion?
