British aircraft made the first reconnaissance over the occupied Crimea in the new year

On the afternoon of January 4, the British Air Force began reconnaissance flights along the coast of the occupied Crimea.

Taking off from Mildenhall airbase and passing over Odessa, at 14:00 British strategic reconnaissance aircraft Boeing RC-135W Airseeker R1 entered the skies over the Black Sea.

Having made several passes along the coast from Cape Tarkhankut to the Russian Tuapse, the scout completed the assignment at 16:45. Interestingly, the Briton walked at an altitude of over 10,000 meters, only 40 km from the coastline.

At 17 o’clock the Boeing passed over Odessa in the opposite direction, returning to the departure airbase.
