McDonald’s in Mariupol to open next year – Boychenko

In the spring of 2022, construction of a McDonald’s will begin in Mariupol. This was stated by the mayor of Mariupol, Vadim Boychenko, in a commentary to Mariupol television.

“Next year, we already have solutions for this. We’ll start building in the spring, I’m sure. It’s up to the builders, the owners. I think we will visit McDonald’s by the City Day, ”Vadim Boychenko stressed.

The mayor also noted that the presence of McDonald’s is an important indicator for international partners.

“McDonald’s isn’t just about food. In fact, it is a very important international marker. When it will be, it will definitely add “value” to us, as a city, so that private investments come to the common piggy bank and new jobs are created. This is a very important component, “the mayor summed up.

It should be noted that according to the Strategy-2030, Mariupol plans to become a student capital. Earlier, deputy Nikolai Trofimenko noted that the return of large investors to the city would attract young people from all over the region.

“McDonald’s is one of the hallmarks of the student city we are building,” summed up Nikolai Trofimenko.

It should be reminded that several McDonald’s restaurants may appear in different districts of Mariupol over the next few years.
