The readiness of the United States to negotiate with Putin is the first step to disaster – Lucas

British journalist and publicist Edward Lucas believes that the United States’ willingness to negotiate with the Kremlin will lead to disaster.

UA reports this.

Lucas stressed that the West should make it clear to Russia that an attack on Ukraine will not work and will lead to the losses. He stressed that this requires sending military equipment to our country and conducting exercises in the Black Sea region to show readiness to resist any aggression.

The publicist also expressed his opinion on NATO’s reaction to the current events.

“I believe that NATO should show that it is worth the money we are spending on it now. It is now an almost invisible organization. All the negotiations were undertaken by the United States. Therefore, NATO should already organize exercises in the Baltic States and the Black Sea in order to prove its ability to respond to any provocation by Russia” – Lucas said.

122,000 Russian servicemen are at a distance of 200 km near the borders of Ukraine, and 143,500 are at a distance of 400 km.

100% correct. NATO is nothing more than a talking shop led by a gaggle of old women pretending to be leaders.

  2. NATO is currently in the process of once again demonstrating its uselessness. If mafia land were to roll into the Baltic States, I doubt that this kindergarten will be able to stop them. Poland is another matter, but here too I see all the other member states reluctant to send in their ill-trained girls to provide real help.

    • The West as a whole is a joke. Sweden and Finland should be in Nato already. But all we got is Montenegro and Albania! This shit isn’t gonna work. We should put a sign on Nato’s front door ‘temporarily unavailable’!
