Russian politician Alexei Navalny said that he began training in sewing at Colony No. 2 in Pokrov, where he is serving time. A message about this appeared in the social networks of the oppositionist.
The politician himself told that Navalny would start working in the colony as a seamstress in early December. After that, he was sent to study, which Navalny compared with a “real vocational school”, where, according to him, there are classrooms, practical and test works, as well as two “very patient” teachers.
Apparently, as the most dubious pedagogue, I am entitled to a special employee. He sits down at the next desk, puts the video recorder pointed at me on the table and sits like this for five hours of lessons. In a hat and a pea jacket. Next to the sewing machine. Sometimes he says to me something like: “Alexey Anatolyevich, stop looking out the window, there is nothing interesting there.” At such moments, the feeling of returning in time is generally 100%.
According to Navalny, he masters the theoretical part well and has already received an “five” for the test, but “he can’t sew.”
The sewing speed is regulated by a pedal, and the machine either stands by me, or at great speed it figures a completely oblique line, which puts me into a state of fury, and then, the stump is clear, nothing happens at all. As the teacher wisely said: “You shouldn’t have grown a size 46 paw!” It’s like that. It was not necessary. Well, I’ll probably learn. It’s never too late to learn.
From February to October 2021, Alexei Navalny was registered as prone to escape, which is why he was woken up every hour at night for a check. Then he was removed from this register and put on the preventive register as an extremist and terrorist, which involves fewer checks. Navalny filed a lawsuit demanding that the registration be declared illegal.
