The situation on the Ukrainian border will also be touched upon at the meeting of the leaders of the European Council on Thursday
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell stated the unity among the bloc countries regarding the protection of Ukraine from the Russian attack as the European External Action Service (EEAS) reported.
“We also discussed Ukraine and Russia’s military build-up on their borders: Allow me to say once again firmly that the European Union stands united in support of Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity. Ministers – all of them – have been very clear today that any aggression against Ukraine, will come with political consequences and with a high economic cost for Russia. We are closely coordinating with our transatlantic and like-minded partners,” Borrell noted.
According to him, the situation on the Ukrainian border was discussed the day before, at the summit of the foreign ministers of the G7 countries. This topic remains on the agenda and will also be touched upon at the meeting of the leaders of the European Council on Thursday.
Earlier, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen has warned Moscow that the European Union will not limit itself to sanctions in the event of a Russian invasion of Ukraine.
Besides, NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg warned Russia that its attack on Ukraine would come at a high price called for a return to a diplomatic solution to the conflict.
I’m not sure Ukraine need the EU to help them defend against the mongol invaders. Just sanction the crap out of the Moskali, then keep out of the fucking way.
Fuck the EU!

This should have happened eight years ago already. We probably would not be here right now if the EU and the US would have put on some really, excruciating pain on mafia land after it stole the Crimea and started the war in Donbas. Mafia land’s perpetual aggression in all manner of ways is thanks to lukewarm sanctions and non-stop appeasement. Now, after the horse got away, they want to slam the barn door shut. Morons.
