Turkey’s Aselsan opens Maintenance and Repair Center in Ukraine

Turkish defense company Aselsan continues to expand its presence in Ukraine. The next step, after the registration of Aselsan Ukraine LLC in Ukraine and the opening of an office in Kyiv, will be the opening of the Maintenance and Repair Center.

This was announced in an interview with Business Ukraine magazine by the   President and CEO of Aselsan Haluk Görgün

“I am proud to announce that we are currently working hard on plans to establish an independent service center in Kyiv. The main activities of the Maintenance and Repair Center (MRO Center) will be after-sales support, maintenance and repair, ”said Haluk Görgün.

The President and CEO of Aselsan also expressed hope for expanding the company’s presence in Ukraine.

At ASELSAN UKRAINE LLC, we give priority to local needs. This means offering a wide range of services, from industrial cooperation to after-sales support provided locally in Ukraine. Thanks to a wide range of engineering, defense and commercial solutions, we expect significant progress in the Ukrainian market and will continue to look for new opportunities for further development of local cooperation, “he said.

The anti-drone system IHASAVAR from Aselsan was demonstrated for the first time in Ukraine at the exhibition “Weapons and Security-2017”

Earlier, Haluk Giorgun presented in Ukraine the capabilities of light combat modules developed and manufactured by Aselsan SARP Dual and SARP KPVT, which were installed on armored vehicles from the NGO “Practice”.

“This is just the beginning of our cooperation here in Ukraine. We have a long way to go and cooperation in the interests of different users. This will make our work even more successful, ”said the then President and CEO of Aselsan, commenting on the event.
