Russia regards Zelensky’s statements on return of Crimea “as direct threat”

Peskov stressed that the Kremlin is analyzing the statements of the Ukrainian President on Russian issues

The Kremlin regards the words of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky about the return of Crimea as a direct threat to Russia as RT reported citing Spokesperson of the Russian leader Dmitriy Peskov.

He stressed that the Kremlin is analyzing the statements of the Ukrainian president on Russian issues.

“Let’s consider yesterday’s statements on Russian issues. Addressing a speech in parliament, Zelensky said that the return of Crimea should be the main goal and philosophy of Ukraine. That is, in fact, we see it as a direct threat to Russia,” Peskov said.

On December 1, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky spoke in the Verkhovna Rada with a message about the external and internal situation of Ukraine.

Zelensky said that he is not afraid of a direct conversation with Russian President Vladimir Putin and is ready for it.

This is laughable by Peskov. A thief crying because the rightful owner wants his property back.

    • Everything is a direct threat to the thin-skinned Putin regime. If they allowed journalists, opposition or NGO’s we would hear daily about the atrocities and violations of human rights since the Moskali infested southern Ukraine.

      • Well it just got worse in Muscovy. Gazprom bought VKontakte and Odnoklassniki social networks, meaning the Kremlin now run all the social networks in Russia.
